Job Description

We are searching for a skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join our enthusiastic team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be responsible for protecting our systems and data against potential threats. This role entails monitoring network traffic, identifying vulnerabilities, and coordinating with the IT team to implement security measures.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, analyze, and report potential security threats.
  • Design and implement security measures to mitigate identified risks.
  • Evaluate and deploy security tools such as firewalls and encryption.
  • Coordinate incident response and forensic investigations when needed.
  • Prepare documentation of security processes and protocols.
  • Collaborate with compliance officers to ensure policies align with regulations.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field
  • Master's degree preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in IT security or cybersecurity roles
Technical Skills
  • Cybersecurity Frameworks (NIST, ISO)
  • Endpoint Protection Solutions
