Civil Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Civil Engineer to join our Johannesburg office. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of civil engineering principles and a passion for innovative infrastructure solutions. You will be instrumental in managing projects, from planning stages through to execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of civil engineering projects.
• Ensure all engineering designs comply with local and international standards.
• Liaise with clients to establish project requirements and expectations.
• Oversee construction activities to ensure adherence to design specifications.
• Conduct feasibility studies and present findings to stakeholders.
• Utilize software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D for design and drafting.
• Prepare and present project proposals to management and clients.
• Facilitate communication between project teams and external stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Professional Engineer (PrEng) certification is advantageous

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years experience in civil engineering projects
