Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Aerospace Engineer to join our dynamic team in Durban. In this role, you will be involved in the design, development, and testing of aerospace systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of projects from concept to completion.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and select materials for aerospace applications.
• Optimize designs for weight and performance efficiency.
• Coordinate with quality assurance teams to ensure product integrity.
• Prepare and deliver presentations on project status and accomplishments.
• Support the development of regulatory compliance documentation.
• Engage in software development for aerospace applications when necessary.
• Collaborate on research projects and initiatives to promote innovation.
• Participate in workshops and training to enhance technical skills.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering
• Master's degree in a related field is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of industry experience in aerospace engineering

• Certified Aerospace Technician (CAT)
