Job Description

Join our team as a Health and Safety Officer, where you will monitor and improve safety protocols while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation. Your role will include conducting audits, managing incident investigations, and providing training to staff on safety practices.

Responsibilities

  • Lead health and safety campaigns for employee awareness.
  • Assess and mitigate workplace hazards.
  • Provide advice on safety legislation applicable to the organization.
  • Conduct follow-up inspections on corrective actions.
  • Facilitate safety drills and training sessions.
  • Act as a liaison with regulatory agencies and auditors.
  • Prepare and submit health and safety reports to management.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Safety Management is a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in a health and safety role
