Ecosystem Services Group seeks an enthusiastic Environmental Engineer to contribute to vital projects aimed at promoting environmental stewardship. You will assess ecological impacts and propose solutions that align with sustainability goals, making a tangible impact in our community.

Responsibilities

• Perform environmental compliance audits and inspections.
• Assist in developing policies for minimizing environmental impacts.
• Engage in research to keep up-to-date with environmental regulations.
• Advise clients on environmental concerns and applicable laws.
• Prepare documents for regulatory approvals.
• Participate in project meetings and provide environmental input.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in environmental engineering or related field

• Environmental Regulations

Certifications

• EIA Certification
• LEED Accredited Professional (AP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

Advantageous

• Experience in environmental impact assessments (EIAs): Experience conducting EIAs for various projects.
