Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Actuarial Analyst who is eager to contribute to our team in Pretoria. You will be involved in risk management strategies, conducting quantitative analysis, and providing reports on financial implications. Strong communication skills will be necessary to present your findings effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular audits of actuarial models and assumptions.
  • Apply statistical methods to develop insights.
  • Work closely with actuaries and underwriters.
  • Assist in the development of new financial products.
  • Manage and maintain actuarial databases.
  • Provide support in external audits and reviews.
  • Develop methodologies for assessing market risk.
  • Present findings and recommendations to management.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics or Statistics
  • Fellowship or Associate designation from a recognized actuarial society is preferred
Experience
  • 2-5 years of experience in actuarial analysis or similar field
