We are in search of a passionate DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing cloud environments and deploying new technologies that will enhance our operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain automated testing frameworks.
• Deliver operational support for production environments.
• Implement system and application monitoring solutions.
• Work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Evaluate and adopt new tools and technologies for better performance.
• Create technical documentation for processes and systems.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in a similar role with proven experience in cloud solutions

• Terraform

Certifications

• Google Professional Cloud Architect
• Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in monitoring tools like Prometheus or Grafana: Ability to track performance and health of systems.
• Familiarity with serverless architecture: Understanding of serverless concepts and deployment practices.
