Job Description

We are seeking an Environmental Engineer to join our team in Pretoria. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing environmental impacts, developing strategies for sustainability, and ensuring compliance with local regulations. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement environmental projects aimed at improving ecological outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategies for waste management and reduction.
  • Implement water resource management initiatives.
  • Conduct field surveys and data collection.
  • Collaborate with engineers to design eco-friendly projects.
  • Evaluate project performance against environmental objectives.
  • Facilitate training for staff on environmental practices.
  • Research and propose innovative solutions to environmental challenges.
  • Participate in public engagements and environmental forums.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
  • Master's degree preferred
Experience
  • 4+ years of experience in environmental consulting
