Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Fleet Maintenance Manager to oversee our fleet operations in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing maintenance schedules, ensuring vehicle compliance, and leading a team of technicians. A strong understanding of fleet management principles and previous experience in a similar role is essential.

Responsibilities

• Implement maintenance schedules and ensure adherence across the fleet.
• Manage parts inventory to guarantee availability for repairs.
• Conduct performance reviews and implement necessary changes for improvement.
• Oversee the hiring and training of new technicians and mechanics.
• Review and process warranty claims and maintenance invoices.
• Collaborate with procurement to secure the best prices for maintenance supplies.
• Ensure all technicians are following proper safety protocols.
• Analyze data to improve maintenance processes and reduce costs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Logistics, Transportation, or Mechanical Engineering
• Advanced Certifications in Fleet Management preferred

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in fleet management or maintenance roles
