Network Security Specialist

Job Description

Join our team as a Network Security Specialist, where you will be tasked with protecting the company's network from threats and vulnerabilities. You will actively participate in security assessments, monitor security events, and collaborate with IT teams to develop security policies and strategies.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze network logs for potential security breaches.
• Configure and maintain firewall and security appliance settings.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
• Assist in the development of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Engage in threat hunting to proactively seek out potential security issues.
• Document incidents and security measures taken and report to management.
• Keep abreast of regulatory compliance requirements and ensure adherence.
• Work with vendor teams to research and implement new security solutions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Certifications in network security are advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles
