Supply Chain Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable Supply Chain Analyst to enhance our Johannesburg operations. In this role, you will evaluate supply chain processes, prepare reports, and develop strategies to improve efficiency. The ideal candidate should have a strong aptitude for data analysis and be able to work within a team to drive performance.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain effective supplier relationships.
• Utilize software tools for supply chain management and forecasting.
• Support the development of supply chain budgets.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
• Participate in logistics planning and execution.
• Communicate relevant information to all stakeholders.
• Analyse market trends to anticipate changes in supply chain dynamics.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
• MBA or equivalent is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in supply chain analysis or logistics

Technical Skills

• SQL
• ERP Systems

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience with Supply Chain Optimization: Proficiency in identifying and implementing cost-saving strategies.
• Analytical Tools: Experience with tools such as Tableau or Power BI for data visualization.
