DevOps Engineer

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a DevOps Engineer in Johannesburg. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement CI/CD pipelines, manage cloud infrastructure, and improve system reliability and performance.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure on platform such as AWS or Azure.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments and infrastructure provisioning.
• Monitor and troubleshoot system performance and security.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure reliable deployment practices.
• Manage version control and configuration management tools.
• Automate repetitive tasks and improve efficiency in the deployment process.
• Maintain documentation for system configurations and processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps or related field

Technical Skills

• AWS
• Docker
• Kubernetes
• Terraform

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with CI/CD tools: Experience with Jenkins or CircleCI for building and deploying applications.
