Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled IT Support Technician to join our Port Elizabeth team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support to both internal staff and external clients, ensuring that all IT equipment runs smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will be tech-savvy, capable of troubleshooting various software and hardware issues, and will have strong interpersonal skills to assist users effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-user support for hardware and software issues.
• Execute the installation and configuration of new systems and applications.
• Work with third-party vendors to resolve technical issues and warranties.
• Help in training users on new applications and features.
• Conduct periodic audits on IT equipment and software.
• Assist in developing IT policies and procedures.
• Participate in disaster recovery and backup operations.
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance the use of technology.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate in IT Support or related field
• Bachelor's degree in IT is a plus

Experience

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in IT support
