Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Network Administrator to manage and maintain our network infrastructure in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills and a thorough understanding of network protocols and security measures. Your experience with both hardware and software will be invaluable in ensuring our systems run smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the integrity and reliability of network systems.
  • Develop and implement network upgrade plans.
  • Monitor security of network systems and data.
  • Perform regular network backups and restoration tasks.
  • Document processes and procedures related to network administration.
  • Assist in user setup and account management.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues.
  • Evaluate new network technologies and solutions.
  • Coordinate with other IT departments for system integrations.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
  • Network certifications like MCSE are beneficial
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in IT networking or support
