Responsibilities

• Research and apply new methodologies in actuarial science.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
• Analyze loss trends to improve pricing and underwriting strategies.
• Support the accounting and finance teams with actuarial evaluations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Actuarial professional qualifications are strongly preferred

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in actuarial science

Technical Skills

• Predictive modeling
• Statistical software proficiency

Soft Skills

• Critical thinking
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Fellowship of the Actuarial Society

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with IFRS 17: Experience working with International Financial Reporting Standards 17 reporting requirements.
• Previous involvement in product development: Experience in product development in an actuarial capacity is highly desirable.
