Nuclear Monitoring Technician

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Nuclear Monitoring Technician who will be responsible for analyzing and testing metallic materials. You will ensure the highest quality standards by determining the chemical composition, microstructure, and physical properties of materials. Your attention to detail and analytical prowess will directly contribute to our operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct metallographic analysis using appropriate laboratory techniques.
• Maintain detailed records of testing procedures and outcomes.
• Work closely with engineering teams to suggest potential improvements.
• Assist in the development of new testing methodologies.
• Monitor compliance with ISO and quality management standards.
• Analyze and report on the reliability of laboratory findings.
• Train other team members in laboratory techniques as needed.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions for quality improvement.

Requirements

Education

• National Diploma in Metallurgical Engineering or related field
• Certification in material testing and analysis

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in metallurgical testing and analysis.

Technical Skills

• Microscopy techniques

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with metallographic testing equipment: Hands-on experience with hardness testers and tensile testers.
