Job Description

Join Prestige Academy as a Teaching Assistant and play a vital role in enhancing the learning experiences of our diverse student body. In this position, you will support teachers in implementing lesson plans, providing one-on-one assistance to students, and fostering a positive classroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Aid in the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs).
• Observe and report on student performance and challenges.
• Encourage and support students during classroom and outdoor activities.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized classroom.
• Provide feedback to teachers on student progress.
• Participate in professional development workshops and training.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
• Honours degree is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a teaching or related role

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Tswana: Basic

Advantageous

• First Aid Certification: Certified in First Aid and CPR to handle emergencies in the classroom.
