Environmental Engineer

We are searching for an Environmental Engineer passionate about sustainability and environmental protection to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. You will play a key role in developing innovative solutions that enhance project sustainability across various sectors.

Responsibilities

• Lead site assessments and collect environmental data.
• Assist with project management concerning environmental compliance.
• Evaluate potential environmental risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Facilitate community engagement activities around environmental initiatives.
• Monitor and evaluate existing environmental programs.
• Compile comprehensive reports for regulatory agencies and stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Master's degree in Environmental Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of direct experience in environmental project work

• Water Quality Analysis
• Biodiversity Management

• Critical Thinking
• Leadership

Certifications

• ISO 14001 Certification
• Registered Environmental Manager (REM)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
