Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring, detecting, and responding to cybersecurity incidents while assisting in the development of security protocols and policies. The ideal candidate must have a solid understanding of threat analysis and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Conduct penetration tests and vulnerability assessments.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Monitor security systems for potential breaches.
• Assist in the establishment of disaster recovery procedures.
• Prepare reports on security incidents and breaches.
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall security.
• Communicate security risks to management and stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 4-6 years of experience in cybersecurity roles
