Interior Designer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a talented Interior Designer to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a flair for creativity, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to conceptualize and execute unique design solutions tailored to our clients' needs. You will work closely with clients to understand their vision, create design proposals, and manage projects from inception to completion.

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to discuss their vision and finalize design specifications.
• Utilize CAD software to draft and review design plans.
• Review and enhance design elements to optimize functionality and aesthetics.
• Supervise the installation of interior elements, ensuring quality control.
• Prepare project documentation and reports for clients.
• Foster positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field
• Master's degree in Interior Architecture or similar area is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in interior design with a focus on residential or commercial projects

Technical Skills

• 3D Rendering Software
• Project Management Tools

Soft Skills

• Time Management
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ)
• LEED Certification is an advantage

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience in commercial interior design projects: Hands-on experience working on corporate or retail spaces.
• Knowledge of space planning protocols: Understanding space optimization techniques for various settings.
