As a Hotel Operations Specialist, you will play a vital role in enhancing guest experiences and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within our hotel. Your responsibilities will involve overseeing various departments, managing staff, and implementing processes that ensure the highest standards of service. Job Responsibilities
  • Supervise front desk operations and ensure accurate billing and customer service.
  • Work with the management team to develop strategies for increasing guest satisfaction.
  • Assist in the recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of hotel staff.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations throughout the property.
  • Prepare operational reports for senior management review.
  • Facilitate communication between departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and adjust services accordingly.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field
  • Customer Service Experienced in delivering excellent customer service.
  • Operational Management Skilled in managing hotel operations efficiently.
  • Leadership Proven leadership skills to manage a diverse team.
  • Communication Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Hospitality Management Certification
  • First Aid Certification
  • English (Fluent)
  • Afrikaans (Intermediate)
Advantageous
  • Experience in event management: Ability to handle and coordinate events and functions within the hotel.
  • Knowledge of local tourism trends: Familiarity with local attractions and events to enhance guest experiences.
