Job Description

Join our Johannesburg team as an Accountant, where you will manage financial statements, assist with audits, and prepare tax returns. We are looking for a proactive individual with a passion for numbers and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns and ensure compliance.
• Provide financial insights and management reports to stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain financial models for various scenarios.
• Assist in financial planning and strategy development.
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting.
• Participate in financial audits and implement recommendations.
• Support the firm in achieving its strategic objectives.
• Engage in professional development and continuous learning.
• Collaborate with other accountants to improve processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• Master's degree in Finance is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in accounting and financial management

Certifications

• CIMA or equivalent
• B-BBEE Certification is advantageous

Languages

• English: Fluent
