We are on the lookout for a compassionate and experienced General Practitioner to become part of our team in Johannesburg. This role involves not only diagnosing and treating illness but also contributing to preventive healthcare initiatives and patient education. Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients for a range of health issues in a primary care setting.
• Build long-term relationships with patients to support their ongoing health needs.
• Lead health initiatives that promote community wellness.
• Deliver culturally competent care, respecting diverse backgrounds.
• Assist in the training of junior medical staff and interns.
• Advocate for patient needs within the wider healthcare system.
• Commit to ethical medical practices and maintaining confidentiality.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent medical qualification
• Specialist qualification in family practice or internal medicine preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role

Technical Skills

• Patient Management
• Emergency Care

Soft Skills

• Team Leadership
• Crisis Management

Certifications

• Registered with HPCSA
• Basic Life Support (BLS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

Advantageous

• Experience with telemedicine practices: Familiarity with providing virtual consultations.
• Knowledge of chronic disease management: Expertise in handling long-term health conditions.
