Civil Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic Civil Engineer with a passion for infrastructure design. In this role, you will contribute to innovative engineering solutions while collaborating with a diverse team.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil engineering projects from conception to completion.
• Review project designs and make amendments where necessary.
• Coordinate with local authorities to secure necessary permits.
• Supervise and mentor junior engineers and interns.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation for submission.
• Maintain detailed records of project progress and issues.
• Work closely with clients to ensure their needs are met throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in similar roles

Technical Skills

• Civil 3D
• Geotechnical Engineering

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Time Management

Certifications

• South African Council for Professional Engineers (SACPCMP) certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience managing large infrastructure projects: Hands-on experience in overseeing significant engineering projects.
• Autodesk Revit certification: Certification in using Revit for Building Information Modeling (BIM).
