Job Description

As a Veterinarian at our Pretoria facility, you will be at the forefront of animal healthcare. We are looking for someone who is not only thorough in their medical assessments but also deeply cares about the wellbeing of the animals they treat. You’ll engage with pet owners, provide health education, and collaborate with a skilled veterinary team to ensure the highest care standards.

Responsibilities

  • Examine and treat animals with a variety of conditions.
  • Perform surgical procedures under sterile conditions.
  • Advise pet owners regarding health care and nutrition.
  • Build long-term relationships with clients and their pets.
  • Ensure compliance with veterinary laws and regulations.
  • Engage in professional development and training.
  • Collaborate with staff for a cohesive clinical environment.
  • Monitor anesthesia and vitals during surgical procedures.
  • Participate in the development of clinic policies and procedures.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor of Veterinary Science or related field
  • Postgraduate qualifications are advantageous
Experience
  • 3+ years in a clinical setting preferred
