We are seeking a dedicated Veterinarian to join our team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will provide outstanding medical care to animals, performing examinations, diagnosing conditions, and administering treatments. Responsibilities

• Perform health assessments and diagnostic tests.
• Deliver treatment to pets and monitor recovery.
• Advise pet owners on nutrition and care.
• Develop and implement vaccination programs.
• Work with animal shelters on public health initiatives.
• Supervise veterinary technicians and support staff.
• Ensure compliance with veterinary regulations.
• Lead detailed discussions with pet owners regarding treatment options.
• Participate in training junior staff and interns.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a veterinary practice

• Internal Medicine

Certifications

• Veterinary Technician National Examination (VTNE)

Languages
