Job Description

We are looking for a Cloud Solutions Architect to join our dedicated team in Cape Town. This role involves designing scalable cloud infrastructures and implementing strategies to optimize performance and security. The ideal candidate will have experience in cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud-based applications and services.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions for staff on cloud technologies.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to enhance cloud deployment processes.
• Evaluate and select cloud vendors based on technical capabilities.
• Optimize cloud resource utilization and cost management strategies.
• Document cloud architecture and operational processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in architecting cloud solutions

• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
