Join our vibrant team in Pretoria as a Veterinary Officer where your expertise will contribute to the health and welfare of animals. You'll handle a diverse range of veterinary cases, ensuring high standards of care and treatment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and monitor the health and behaviour of animals in the clinic.
• Conduct follow-up examinations and consultations with pet owners.
• Assist in running educational workshops for pet owners about animal care.
• Document treatment response and changes in the health status of animals.
• Collaborate with other veterinarians for complex cases.
• Develop outreach programs to promote spaying and neutering.
• Oversee the clinic's financial transactions and billing processes.
• Participate in staff meetings to improve practice standards.
• Engage with local animal welfare organizations to improve the community’s understanding of animal healthcare.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization within the clinic.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine
• Additional certifications in specialised veterinary fields are a plus.

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in veterinary practice preferred
