Job Description

Join our team as an Environmental Engineering Technician, where you will be responsible for monitoring and assessing environmental conditions, collecting and analysing samples, and developing strategies to mitigate environmental impacts. The role requires a strong understanding of environmental regulations and technical expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate environmental data and prepare comprehensive reports.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with environmental laws.
  • Support the environmental manager in project management tasks.
  • Train and guide junior technicians and contractors.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders and regulatory agencies.
  • Implement sustainability initiatives and projects.
  • Manage and maintain environmental monitoring equipment.
  • Compile data for regulatory reporting and submissions.
  • Research and stay updated on environmental best practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant environmental or engineering discipline
Experience
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in environmental monitoring
