UI Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a talented UI Designer to join our creative team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will work closely with UX designers and developers to create intuitive user interfaces for our digital products. You will be integral to the design process, ensuring that our user interfaces are visually appealing, functional, and user-centered.

Responsibilities

• Design and create user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with UX researchers and developers to define and implement innovative solutions.
• Conduct user research to have a better understanding of user needs.
• Develop wireframes, storyboards, and user flows.
• Ensure that design meets business requirements and technical specifications.
• Create and maintain a comprehensive style guide.
• Work closely with front-end developers to ensure alignment between design and implementation.
• Stay updated on trends and best practices in UI design.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design

Technical Skills

• Adobe XD
• Prototyping tools

Soft Skills

• Teamwork

Certifications

• Certified UX Designer

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with mobile design: Experience designing user interfaces for mobile applications.
