Job Description

We are in search of a passionate Learning and Development Specialist to join our team in Johannesburg. This role is vital in enhancing staff capabilities through effective training and development programs tailored to meet the unique needs of our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of adult learning principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to design engaging learning experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Design and conduct orientation and onboarding programs.
  • Guide staff in achieving their professional development goals.
  • Conduct research on new training methodologies and practices.
  • Assist in succession planning and talent development.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to employees.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to align learning strategies.
  • Develop partnerships with educational institutions for employee training.
  • Facilitate team-building workshops and activities.
  • Manage training logistics and scheduling.
  • Promote a positive learning and development culture across the organization.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development or related field
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Training and Development are preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years in learning and development roles

  • Learning Management Systems (LMS)

  • Certified Learning and Development Professional (CLDP)
