Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Tax Consultant to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate should possess thorough knowledge of South African tax regulations and experience in providing advisory services. You will be responsible for assisting clients with tax planning and compliance while ensuring adherence to the relevant laws.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough tax advisory services to minimize tax liabilities.
• Prepare detailed tax reports and analyses.
• Assist in auditing processes and liaise with regulatory authorities.
• Identify potential tax-saving opportunities for clients.
• Provide strategic tax planning to align with clients’ financial goals.
• Stay abreast of tax developments and industry trends.
• Train junior staff on taxation issues and compliance.
• Foster and maintain client relationships.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CA(SA) or equivalent is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in tax consulting
