Civil Engineer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for an ambitious Civil Engineer to contribute to our projects in Pretoria. You will engage in planning, designing, and executing civil works while ensuring adherence to safety regulations and best construction practices. This role requires excellent project management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical development of projects while minimizing environmental impact.
• Review and approve drawings and designs submitted by contractors.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
• Implement quality control measures throughout project stages.
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers in engineering principles and practices.
• Evaluate project performance and suggest improvements for future projects.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering is preferred
• Professional Engineer (PrEng) registration is required

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on project management
