Job Description

As an Air Traffic Controller, you will ensure safe, efficient, and orderly flow of air traffic in and around the airport. This vital role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a focus on safety.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the safe operation of aircraft by providing accurate information and instructions.
  • Communicate effectively with flight crews and ground personnel.
  • Assess and manage air traffic congestion.
  • Implement emergency procedures when necessary.
  • Collaborate with other ATC personnel to optimize flight trajectories.
  • Assist in the training of junior controllers.
  • Ensure all communications are clear and concise to avoid misunderstandings.
  • Continuously track and monitor flight details and make real-time decisions based on dynamics.
  • Report on operational performance metrics to management.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and skill enhancement.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management or relevant field
  • Certification in Air Traffic Control is a plus
Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in aviation communications or related field.
