Responsibilities

• Groom pets according to breed standards and owner preferences.
• Keep up-to-date with grooming techniques and industry standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service to pet owners.
• Assist in the training of junior groomers and interns.
• Document grooming procedures and pet behavior for future reference.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills.

Requirements

Education

• NQF Level 4 Qualification in Animal Care or Grooming

Experience

• 3+ years of professional grooming experience

Technical Skills

• Grooming Equipment Handling
• Health Monitoring

Soft Skills

• Empathy
• Teamwork

Certifications

• First Aid for Pets Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Hydrotherapy Certification: Experience in hydrotherapy can be beneficial for certain pets.
