Job Description

We are seeking an IT Support Technician to join our Randburg team. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, providing support to our staff and clients, and ensuring optimal IT functionality across the organization. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our IT infrastructure and assisting with software and hardware installations.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for support requests.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical problems in a timely manner.
  • Maintain and update IT documentation and inventory.
  • Assist with the rollout of new software applications.
  • Ensure compliance with company IT security policies.
  • Monitor and maintain IT equipment and supplies.
  • Work collaboratively with IT team members to enhance system performance.
  • Schedule and perform routine maintenance on IT systems.
  • Manage and escalate support tickets as necessary.
  • Engage in ongoing learning to stay updated with technology trends.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in IT Support or a similar position
