Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Actuary to join our dynamic team in Durban. The successful candidate will play a critical role in analysing financial risks using mathematics, statistics, and financial theory. You will be responsible for producing reports and advising clients on risk management strategies.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain mathematical models to evaluate different risk exposures.
• Assist in the development of risk mitigation strategies for clients.
• Interpret and communicate complex data analyses to stakeholders.
• Stay updated with industry trends and changes in regulations.
• Train and mentor junior actuaries and interns.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field
• Master's degree in Actuarial Science preferred

Experience

• 4+ years in actuarial consulting or related fields

Certifications

• Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA)
