Job Description

We are currently seeking a qualified Structural Engineer to join our talented team in East London. As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing the construction of various projects, ensuring they meet all safety and structural requirements.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate structural integrity of existing buildings and recommend necessary upgrades.
• Utilize engineering software for design simulations and calculations.
• Advise on material selection and construction methods.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide training as needed.
• Ensure that all engineering activities meet quality assurance standards.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in structural engineering.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in structural engineering design

Technical Skills

• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• Building Regulations Knowledge

Soft Skills

• Team leadership
• Detail-oriented

Certifications

• Chartered Engineer (CEng)
• LEED Accredited Professional - preferred

Languages

• English: Fluent
