We are seeking a creative Mobile App Developer to join our dynamic Durban team. You will be instrumental in designing and developing high-quality mobile applications for both Android and iOS platforms. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in the mobile app development lifecycle and have a keen eye for detail to ensure a seamless user experience.

Responsibilities

• Create application architecture that is scalable and maintainable.
• Incorporate design patterns and best practices into mobile application development.
• Integrate third-party libraries and APIs for enhanced functionality.
• Ensure the security of mobile applications by implementing encryption.
• Train junior developers and provide mentorship.
• Monitor the app performance and quickly troubleshoot issues.
• Prepare reports and documentation for project stakeholders.
• Assist in the management of user accounts and mobile app subscriptions.
• Engage with clients for requirement gathering and project scope evaluation.
• Advocate for user-centered design in all stages of development.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar discipline
• Postgraduate degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mobile app development
