Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals and families facing challenges, ensuring they receive the resources and guidance needed to thrive.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain case plans in partnership with clients.
  • Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation support when needed.
  • Monitor and evaluate client progress towards achieving their goals.
  • Facilitate support groups and educational programs to empower clients.
  • Utilize community resources to connect clients with beneficial services.
  • Engage in community outreach efforts to promote the organization's mission.
  • Stay informed about local and national social service policies and trends.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work (BSW)
  • Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) is preferred
