We are currently seeking a Civil Engineer to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in civil engineering principles, with experience in project management and design. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing civil engineering projects that meet industry standards while ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative design solutions for civil engineering projects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success.
• Review and analyze project specifications and regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of project activities and expenditures.
• Facilitate meetings with stakeholders to discuss project progress and concerns.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Master's degree in Civil Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure projects

Technical Skills

• Civil 3D
• Hydraulic Modeling

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Negotiation Skills

Certifications

• Construction Safety Training
• SANS 10400 Compliance

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in sustainable design practices: Knowledge of practices that reduce environmental impact.
• Familiarity with software like SAP2000: Experience with structural analysis software tools.
