The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing tax compliance for various clients and developing tax strategies to optimize their financial positions. You will work closely with a diverse clientele, providing expert guidance on tax laws to ensure compliance. Responsibilities

• Manage client tax compliance, including preparation and filing of forms.
• Provide expert advice on tax planning strategies.
• Review and assist in preparing corporate tax returns.
• Identify tax risks and opportunities for clients.
• Stay updated on tax law changes and assess the impact on clients.
• Collaborate with clients and provide financial insights.
• Prepare tax estimates and projections.
• Assist clients with audits conducted by tax authorities.
• Train and mentor junior staff on tax processes.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Taxation or Business Administration
• Professional qualification such as CTA or CTA is preferred

Experience

• 7 years of experience in tax planning and compliance

• Financial Reporting

Certifications

• AWS Certified Tax Advisor
• Tax Practitioner License

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Fluency in additional languages: Ability to communicate in Afrikaans or Xhosa can be beneficial.
