Responsibilities

• Supervise children during activities to ensure safety.

• Foster relationships with children and develop trust.
• Assist in preparing meals and snacks.
• Participate in parent-teacher meetings.
• Support children in developing self-care skills.
• Help children in resolving conflicts and encourage teamwork.
• Engage in ongoing training and development.

Requirements

Education

• Matric or equivalent
• Diploma in Early Childhood Development preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a childcare role

Technical Skills

• Behavior Management
• Nutritional Knowledge

Soft Skills

• Creativity

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

Advantageous

• Knowledge of educational frameworks: Familiarity with early childhood educational frameworks such as CAPS.
• Fluency in multiple languages: Ability to communicate in more than one language to assist diverse families.
