Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. As a vital member of our organisation, you will implement and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, ensuring seamless project delivery. You will collaborate with development and operations teams to automate workflows and enhance the software development process.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain scalable infrastructure using IaC tools.
• Monitor application performance and improve reliability.
• Facilitate continuous improvement of DevOps processes.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving operational issues.
• Engage in knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team.
• Collaborate on cross-functional projects to improve workflow.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• Professional certifications in DevOps practices preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in cloud-based environments

• CI/CD Pipelines

Certifications

• Google Professional DevOps Engineer

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Helm and Git: Hands-on experience with Helm charts and version control using Git.
