Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our Cape Town team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing the construction of various public and private infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning and execution of civil engineering projects from inception to completion.
• Ensure all work complies with local and national regulations.
• Evaluate and mitigate risks associated with project delivery.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders to maintain effective communication.
• Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation and records.
• Lead and mentor junior engineering staff.
• Implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
• Review engineering proposals and make recommendations.
• Collaborate with environmental consultants on sustainability initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in civil engineering roles

• Site Management

• LEED Accredited Professional

Languages

• English: Fluent
