Job Description

As a Procurement Officer, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring that the organization acquires goods and services at the best price. Your role is crucial in maintaining smooth operations and effective supplier relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strong relationships with suppliers to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Conduct audits of supplier compliance and quality assurance practices.
  • Assist in the development of procurement policies and best practices.
  • Participate in cross-departmental meetings to align on procurement strategies.
  • Identify potential risks in the supply chain and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate training for team members on procurement best practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
  • MBA or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement with a strong track record of improving supply chain efficiency
