Job Description

As a Water and Wastewater Treatment Operator, you will operate and maintain purification equipment vital for ensuring clean and safe water. You will monitor equipment performance and adhere to safety protocols to maintain optimal operation.

Responsibilities

• Manage water treatment processes and maintain equipment.
• Conduct regular quality checks and water sampling.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with the operations team to optimize processes.
• Document and maintain records of operations and maintenance.
• Respond to emergencies and troubleshoot issues with equipment.

Requirements

Education

• Matric Certificate or equivalent
• Technical or vocational training in chemical manufacturing or a related field is advantageous

Experience

• No experience required, but experience in chemical manufacturing or related field is advantageous.

Languages

• English: Fluent
