Job Description

We seek a skilled Insurance Underwriter to analyze customer information and assess risk factors. You will work closely with clients and brokers to facilitate coverage and maintain our standards of quality underwriting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare reports on risk exposure and policy performance.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of insurance documents.
• Work closely with claims departments to evaluate claims against policy guidelines.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance underwriting knowledge and skills.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Risk Management or Finance
• Certification in underwriting practices is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in the insurance industry with underwriting experience

Technical Skills

• Data analysis tools
• Insurance policy knowledge

Soft Skills

• Negotiation
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
