Smart Contract Developer

Job Description

We're seeking a Smart Contract Developer to join our Cape Town office. In this role, you will be responsible for the design and development of smart contracts across various projects. Bring your problem-solving skills and technical expertise to our fast-paced team and help us push the boundaries of blockchain technology.

Responsibilities

• Create, test and deploy robust smart contracts on Ethereum and other platforms.
• Facilitate blockchain knowledge sharing sessions and workshops.
• Support product teams in the implementation and troubleshooting of smart contracts.
• Contribute to the scalability and performance enhancements of the blockchain systems.
• Conduct audits of smart contracts to ensure adherence to best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Computer Science or similar field is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience specifically in blockchain and smart contract development.

Technical Skills

• Solidity
• Web3.js

Certifications

• Certified Ethereum Developer
• Blockchain Fundamentals certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Contributions to open-source blockchain projects: Active involvement in the blockchain community through contributions to open-source projects.
• Experience with Layer 2 solutions: Knowledge of Layer 2 scaling solutions for Ethereum and other blockchain networks.
