Job Description

We're on the lookout for a dedicated Veterinarian to join our Johannesburg practice. This role involves providing comprehensive medical care, conducting surgeries, and advising pet owners on health management. A passion for animal welfare and previous clinical experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive clinical assessments and treatment for pets.
• Implement vaccination programs and educate pet owners on their importance.
• Perform spaying and neutering procedures.
• Manage medical documentation accurately and timely.
• Liaise with animal shelters and rescue organizations for public health initiatives.
• Develop treatment plans based on patient assessments.
• Promote general wellness and preventive care strategies for pets.
• Address emergency cases with quick and efficient responses.

Requirements

Education

• BVSc or equivalent veterinary qualification
• Additional certifications in specialized areas (e.g., surgery, internal medicine) are advantageous

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in a veterinary practice is preferred
